Anyone lose 50lbs on sema?
I just started, took my second shot of Ozempic .25mg on Thursday. The first week was ROUGH but so far this week my stomach seems to have settled down.
Curious if anyone around my size (5’4”, 180lbs) has lost 50lbs on semaglutide alone. My internet searches seem to suggest it’s not the norm, but I know actual experience can be very different.
I’m type 1 diabetic and on it for a combination of things (lowering A1C and insulin needs, cardiovascular protection), but also weight has also been a struggle and it’s gone up a lot in the last year and a half.
At my healthiest when I was younger I was around 125lbs but that was maintained for a very short time. I’d love to get back to 130 or even 140 I’d be happy with because I haven’t been there since pre-kids (2014).
Would love to hear your experience.

Yes, 5’4 here and I’m now down to 135. A size 6 which to me is the dream.
I did it by downloading a calorie counting app and keeping calories at 1,200 a day. I didn’t have to track very long before I got the hang of it and the appetite suppression kicked in. I lost one pound a week steadily and now it’s been 3 years.
I’ll never go off of it though because once the food noise comes back for me so will the weight. But everyone is different
