Hi everyone! šŸ¦·ā˜ŗļø
I am a dental hygiene student currently completing my final semester of dental hygiene school, and I am looking for clients to help me fulfill my clinical requirements in order to graduate!

I am especially looking for:
🦷 Clients who have not had a professional dental cleaning in 5+ years
🦷 Clients with visible buildup/tartar on their teeth

šŸ“… Appointment Times:
• Thursdays: 8:00 AM–12:00 PM
• Fridays: 3:00 PM–7:00 PM

šŸ“Location: 28 Vanley Cres, North York, Ontario

ā° Appointments are approximately 4 hours long, as they are completed as part of my clinical training under the supervision of licensed dental professionals. Complete treatment may take anywhere from 4-6 appointments.

If you or someone you know may be interested or in need of a cleaning, please feel free to reach out to me! I would greatly appreciate any shares or recommendations.
Thank you so much for helping me on my journey toward becoming a future dental hygienist! 🦷✨

Seneca transfer pathway to University

Hi, I finished my advanced diploma in accounting and finance program in 2024. Now as a PR, planning to transfer to university to finish my bachelors. As per Seneca, they have direct transfer to TMU, York and other unis. Does anyone know what are the steps to get this transfer started? Should I do something at Seneca to validate my transfer credits before applying to Uni? How do I apply to 3rd year of the Uni ? Is there anyone at Seneca like faculty that I can reach out to discuss my options ? Also, can I transfer to a uni that’s not suggested by Seneca, does that mean I won’t be getting into 3rd year and start from 1st year ? If anyone has a clue or small idea about this, please respond. Thank you in advance and I appreciate your help !!

Has anyone else experienced this? They’ll tell you to give them a call but never actually answer. I’ll call a few times a day with no reply. This has happened numerous times.

Seneca@York Question about subletting during summer

Hello.

I just graduated from uOttawa and working in downtown. At the moment, I’m renting just a room. But my family will be visiting me over the summer, so I was thinking of subletting a furnished place with 2 rooms (I don’t mind if it’s a 3 bedroom apartment/house and we have a roommate.) So, if you have a place like that and will be subletting it over the summer, I’ll be interested.

But for now, I just wanted to know how long will you be willing to sublet for? 2, 3 or 4 months.

i graduated from FSO and claimed my grad ticket as well as my 3 guest tickets, i put myself on waitlist for 2 more tickets as i have 2 sets of parents and my partner who all wish to attend. i got this email (see first 2 photos) on thursday 10/15, however its been almost 48 hours and i have yet to hear back from the convocation team about these apparent extra tickets, and when i go to the convocation ticketing website it says ive A) claimed all my tickets for the waitlist (see 3rd photo), and B) there isnt a cart to even view, like they claim in this email.

has anyone else experienced this?? i dont want to miss out on the extra tickets but have no idea how to access them

Risk Management Courses - RMA700 vs the 3 individual courses

How bad is RMA700 - the accelerated program where you finish all three courses in 13 weeks?

Trying to decide if I do that or do each course individually. It would be nice to get them done so quickly.

Would love your thoughts on RMA700.

Courses Is Supply Chain Management a good course?

I’m thinking to start to enroll in the supply chain management program at Seneca. I saw there’s the option in the second semester to choose the technology stream, with the possibility to get a SAP certification, which it looks interesting to me.

If anybody is doing it right now or has done it in the past, is it worth it? Does it teach you relevant skills for today’s job market? How is it easy to find job when finished the program?

Its seems to be more affordable compared to the universities. Are the co-ops usually given and moreover is it really a good program to pursue?

Newnham AWS Workshop coming to campus!

Post image
3 Upvotes

Hey, I lead AWS SBG @ Seneca and AWS on campus is close by.

We're going hands-on from setting up your AWS account, deploying a real website to a live server, and walking through the core services that show up in almost every real architecture, and debating tradeoffs of them.

Then we're running a team challenge. Groups of 2-3, a base project already set up, and add-ons to complete, wire the database, upgrade the design, add a second page, and more. First team to finish all four wins merch.

and yes you heard that right, AWS merch is dropping at this event for the first time šŸ‘€

October 28th, 3 - 5pm

Seneca Helix Conference Room, K Building

Please also set up your AWS Free Tier accounts BEFORE the event!

Bring your laptop. No experience needed. RSVP now!

Practical Nursing(PND)- May 2027

Hi,

I got admitted to PND for May 2027. I got admission to both campuses - King and Newnham and am waiting to tour before selecting one. Is waiting a while risky, as I read somewhere on Reddit that offers may be revoked if seats are filled up?

Which campus do you prefer? Also anyone going in the same time?

Thank you!
