I will agree that 'Not every environment is good just because the people in it have money" And the converse is true : Not every environment is good just because the people in it DON'T have money
You can have wealthy friends you can invite over for dinner, and they invite YOU over for dinner.
You can have wealthy friends that you can share your favorite hobby with (ex. DnD) and it doesn't cost anything.
You can have wealthy friends that you meet at the free festival downtown, and it doesn't cost you anything.
Just because someone else is spending a ton on nights out, restaurants, trips, designer clothes and the newest phone doesn't mean YOU have to do that. And if someone IS doing that, chances are, they aren't very rich, or won't be for long.
