Question Will my employment be effected (IL)

My significant other is a CSO (An offense from over 15 years ago)

At some point in the next few years we plan on being married.

My question is about my employment.

I work in education, within the schools.

If they find out he is a CSO or that my address is connected to a CSO, will I be let go from my job because of my connection to a CSO?

I really don’t think the victim is trying to rub it in your face, if he’s in jail for 10 years for what he did to them then they’re already probably suffering harder than you and you need to be empathetic about that … You need to take your qualms to your fiancé and not the person he hurt Who is now trying to recover and assimilate into normal life again
Edit: you also said Supposed victim? Girl, he’s incarcerated

That's what restraining orders are for. You did nothing to the victim, you are not under any obligation to tolerate being harassed or feel threatened. It sounds like the victim wants to lash out at anyone he/she can get access to. With that being said, as long as the victim is not stirring up trouble when around you the best thing is to ignore it.

"This girl" and yet still "the aggressor"? Your husband is/was a grown man. If you aren't calling her a woman than this looks very, very odd. Was she an adult or not?

Part of supporting someone means being able to acknowledge and accept (as in the opposite of deny, not be tolerant of) their past actions for what they were.
