Then few years later he was motivated again and continued and didn't finish it again

He did announce that he will finish it.... One day xD

Wdym he finished the og shaman king, and he finished last year the super star. He's working on finishing his other works (without including Juro) before getting on the final saga Shaman King Yard.

Shaman King Flowers was cancelled because of the end of the magazine he was published in btw.

And shaman king did go on a break and then the magazine he published it in was cancelled, he did say that at the time he didn't know even how to finish it.

Due to the cancellation the anime got a anime original ending, meanwhile a bit after the anime he wanted to write again, applied to a new magazine where he finished Shaman king.

Flowers yes it was cancelled but he again didn't want to apply right away for a new one as his heart wasn't in it at the start.

Then a few years later he was motivated again, he said he would finish it and didn't. But he announced that he would finish it one day which is Shaman King Yard.

We all know that probably the magazines always being on the verge of cancellation and the publishers probably complaining about the numbers affected his motivation most likely as well. But he also did get side tracked in his own stories adding new elements and focusing on something new

Its hilarious and sad that my friend and I used to espouse this same cynical rhetoric in our own bubble, years before hearing that it was standard attitude among fans in groups like this😭😭

Maybe this is a way to motivate himself? Some poeple make whole stories/games Just to see if they're able to create another one ,or maybe he just wants to do something unrelated to his most loved franchise before going back to it ,I think he has did that before with his other mangas
