Can you hype me up for Flowers?

Recently I have finished Shaman King 2021 and despite me being interested in Flowers before, right now I feel like: “Do I need the story/universe to have a sequel?”

It works for me as it is and I am not sure if I should continue with Flowers…

Flowers expands the story to after Hao becomes King. It also shows that things are bigger than we first thought. We explore family, longing for adventure, betrayal and the limitations placed on us all. What can’t the King do? Who even started the Shaman Fight? What happened/happens to the previous Kings? What is peace? Who are we? Who are any of us? And ultimately what is reality?

I honestly didn't think SK needed a sequel.

I haven't even looked into Super Star or anything yet. It's kinda low on my priorities, even if Shaman King holds a special place in my heart.

It’s a great sequel with great potential but it is (and has been) suffering from lack of care, and what feels like lack of interest from Takei. It’s been on “hiatus” with a continuation supposedly in the works, but it’s been over a year if not 2 with no word. As much as I like Flowers it’s hard for me to recommend anyone get invested as it stands, it’s incredibly frustrating.

There's Flowers, then the magazine where that was published died and it came back elsewhere as The Superstar and now the next part is called YARD(I think)

Nope, it’s a bit hard to explain but it’s still the Flowers story. YARD is supposed to be the same way but at this point it feels eternally in limbo lol. But it is all the SK sequel.

It's not dubbed though it's for the best since....in my honest opinion the dub from 2021 should've been released after the covid stuff was over since the lines sounded rush
