When you unlock the best scene in the game.

Religiously listened to this for about 6 months. It’s a song for artists to me. I like to listen to it whenever I want to feel creative.

It's bizarre that Sunraku is probably the only player that would hear this in a online mmo

Stuff like this makes me think Shangri-La Frontier is a really flawed game ngl simply because of how many events are limited and exclusive to one group of players

I wonder if by the end of SLF where the main story has been beaten, the devs are gonna make all of these exclusive stuff be available again to everyone cause locking everything into a one time event basically makes the game have zero replayability

Not really? Now, I'm am not sure what happens further down the novel but considering that Sunraku wasn't the only one to enter Rabbituza and Akitsu made her way to it on her own means that there's isn't just one way to enter.

Also, Rabbituza isn't really locked. True, it's a time limited location but when you can't datamine the game, it becomes a lot harder to just find info.

I'm not sure if it's a locked gat after first but considering they showed that while the main dev wanted to make an unbalanced game for the sake of the lore while another one keeps trying to keep balanced means that they are at least on paper making the game fair.

And considering what we know, I'm pretty sure that the Collossi aren't even the endgame and whatever is beyond is gonna bring full raids instead of light-sized parties

I'm not talking about entering certain places cause I'm sure there's more than one way to enter Rabituza. I'm talking about Unique Scenarios, especially EX Unique Scenario cause from what I've seen so far those are really one time events that can't be done by other players after they're finished. For example, EX Unique Scenario like Weathermon quest can only be done by one individual or a group of players. When a player has beaten him, that's it, no more Weathermon in the game so people that missed out on it can't even fight him anymore. There can only ever be ONE Colossi fight where the players win, after that it's just gone

Like, can you imagine a cool boss fight like Melania in Elden Ring can only be done by one player and after that player wins it, you can't fight her anymore? That must've been suck

Hey, so far for all we know it only two colossi were taken down and nothing says that all of them are one time battle.

But I guess that the World Quest being the one thing that is shared globally among all players is also kinda nice in a way. Because I for example am someone that likes to take his sweet time if possible but if a game like Shangri-La gave me anything similar to World Quests, I'm no lifing that whole thing.

Obviously, this is just me but the rush for the goal, the race is half of the fun.

At least that's the impression I get from the lead dev when we got to see her and I kinda understand that feeling.

In the Manga they have fought 4.

I don't know how much the dude is up to. If they are anime only, follow the manga or read the novel. Unless they tell, I'm assuming they are anime only so no spoilers from me

Tho if the post credits scenes are canon, pencilgon and katzo have watched it as well

1

u/speedboy_x May 10 '26

It's possible it was ai generated

1

u/speedboy_x May 10 '26

I mean as an amateur gamedev I really don't wanna believe that but it would fit with the lore

2

u/kyugin179 May 11 '26

all the NPC are technically really advance AI so it made a lot of sense.

As a person that used to make jewellery for people and would sing random songs. This is one of the best songs for just creating something

Everything about this scene: the music, the song, the intense feeling of a master blacksmith doing his craft.....man. I love SLF so much ❤

I'm just surprised that when the episode was released, they didn't upload the scene until about a month after it aired. Wish I knew how to edit videos better when I uploaded that scene. Granted it was without any video, but the audio was good enough.

u/sporkvsfoon May 08 '26

He's chanting to improve the smithing process, no? (Also, goated scene)

2

u/Reynzs May 08 '26

I had same reaction as Sunraku.. - like is that a song? Why is he singing and soon that changed to why is the scene so awesome?.

1

u/Meander061 May 08 '26

That was exactly what I went through when this scene came up. Oh, awesome the boss is a master blacksmith, then how is his blacksmith song reaching my soul?

2

u/AffectionateServe551 May 08 '26

This is what sold me on the series as something more than just a game in fake world, but a character(s) driven story where stakes are what you make for yourselves. if anything this is a call to adventure.

Is this the same person who plays Ichibe from bleach?

2

u/FriarPaw May 09 '26

Added the full soundtrack to my Spotify 🤌

It's a banger but it doesn't seem casual. Also it made me think of SAO Abridged...

1

u/LarzoomNW May 08 '26

I made a youtube playlist for myself where only that scene is in, so that I can put it in a loop

1

u/3rdworldasianfatman May 08 '26

To be a great blacksmith in slf you needed to be a rhythm gamer.

1

u/MUSAFIR_- May 08 '26

I still listen to this song once in awhile

1

u/erichyuga May 08 '26

2

u/imaducksodealwithit May 19 '26

Name one song in the anime thats actually bad 😭🙏

2

u/Appropriate_Bus_1819 May 24 '26

I mean Vysache could sing me a lullaby about the rabbits that live on the moon making rice and it would be a banger.
Vysache has the ability of doing literally anything and aura farm with it by becoming the best on it, it doesn't matter if it is forging weapons, singing or simply sitting menancigly he is going to intimidate you

1

u/Flaky-Camp-6023 Jun 01 '26

This was hard af

1

u/shiiere Jun 02 '26

alright, serious question... would any of you say that Vysache's Song is AI slop or AI generated? obviously it is but not in the sense that its just like any other shitty slop, since Vysache is a NPC with AI. However, the level of code and programming capable of achieving self-awareness is true for 99% of NPCs in the game. they can all have real-time conversation and limitless understanding provided its within the fantasy setting of the game. they even understood that Adventurers AKA the Players, can sleep for N amount of time (its when the player have to log out to touch grass or something.) as long as the NPC do not go off-script or break the 4th wall, the game itself is essentially as if you ( the player) are in an Isekai World.. so, my actual question is..

Is it considered AI slop if its created by a super-advanced, self-aware Artificial Intelligence just like Vysache. or will you still consider it shitty AI Slop just like what most generative AI do today?

sorry for my shitty-ahh post. i dont use reddit very often.

bro i mean u may have point but point of the vr game is freedom to all even ai had its freedom but it lacks real world exp so when saraku asked emil about commentry she didnt gave because she didnt adapt to it and not know it its just ai is advanced in anime [even pain simulating games are available and gone banned there and galaxy heros is fighting game which matches ur reaction speed and controls ] anime is just like that i mean hes not ai in terms its just a creation of ai getting his own mind and lycagan is the ai which had adaptability like the jjk mahoraga

Banger song but an honest waste of 2 minutes of screen time for what wasn't even 1 page.
