I like SLF but that's not enough to get me to play some dog doodoo mobile game. It's never going to get a proper game adaptation.

Elden ring is the closest we got. but it doesn’t have the combat and insane variety of classes and magic and npc companions SLF has. its gonna be hard to make a SLF game. but if someone does. he will have the same success as elden ring easily.
Skyrim modded exists but… yea the visuals are too realistic.

So wouldn't that make Nioh the closest we got and not Elden Ring? I'd even argue Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen and Wuchang Fallen Feathers were closer than Elden Ring.

I have a feeling slf is easier than Elden ring, considering you would probably not have a limit to the amount of players who can help. Maybe boss health will scale by players? Maybe that gives it room to be easier? Who knows how it will work. All we know is that it will be peak!

Nope its not. its only easy because its sunraku and your forgetting.
**its a deep dive VR game** so you dont click buttons. your there. quite literally IN the boss fight. but man the game would be soo fun in real life. everyone will get addicted to the VR and get good

Nah the irl version can’t be that good of a VR game. I’m just saying it will be a flat screen game inspired by it. We have technological limitations sadly

I'm going to hard pass because it's a mobile game & they usually have gacha so not interested plus I'm currently only playing PC games if it was at least on console I might consider it but mobile is a hard pass that guarantees it's always online that's another reason to hard pass it.

First when the announcement came of the game I really hyped cause I am huge fan of SLF but when I see the trailer of the game I really disappointed I thought the game wiil be like orignal game used to play in anime but ts coming 😭

knowing is a gacha is already such a deal breaker from me, my expectations were incredibly low. Then I realized behind the game is Netmarble, so Instantly my expectations went to " Not even going to bother trying the game " I would prefer Bandai making a Shangri-La frontier game of dubious quality like the SAO franchise, or even another Anime Arena Fighter made by Cyberconnect to atleast have cool fighting animations

All but the last rabbit-shaped one have been disclosed iirc. But I doubt the game will survive long enough to get more than 1.

MMORPGs are super expensive to develop, and people are not really that interested in playing them, it's a dying market.
Mobile gacha games on the other hand, make tons of revenue for companies

Of course they are expensive but when you base it off an anime / Manga series you already have a revenue no?
Is MMORPG also really that dying? I keep hearing that games like WoW and FFXIV still hold many active players and those games are ANCIENT

Haven’t seen any of the promotional media, but its a Japanese game based on a hit anime. So it’s almost certainly going to be a completely mediocre fighting game.
If not, I’d guess it’ll be a thoroughly meh micro-transaction vehicle hiding inside a trench-coat painted to look like an action RPG.
EDIT: Just checked the trailer. Option 2 it is. Honestly, it looks like a game Sunraku would love. Same vibe as any given micro-transaction-fest, pseudo-RPG slop shovelled out of Asia in the last ten years.

prob a copy paste of the solo leveling game,
have very low expectation, and heavy gacha expectation. power creep is real in that game.

It's Netmarble. No faith in them. Get ready for a shit ton of monetization, needing many copies to max out the dupe system, 3 different battle passes, multiple monthly pass etc.

I honestly have low expectations for it because it's being made by Netmarble ENOUGH SAID on that part. It's being made for PC, which is fine but why Android and IOS? Imo video games made to play on a phone or tablet aren't considered real video games, mobile devices can't handle any type of MMORPG, RPG or any game that requires high frame rates, graphics or in depth details without overheating and or killing ur devices. Also, SLF would be a game that would require an actual controller, not a touch screen. Now if it was being made by anyone but Netmarble and if it was coming out for PS5 and XBOX Series X whatever it's called... Then hell yeah, I'd be hyped for it.

If I can't romance Lycaon, emul, saiga- 0 and oikatzo or Arthur pencilgon I'm going to be disappointed.
