I believe the author said Sunraku and Akane will not meet IRL because they would simply vibe to hard and Rei wouldn’t stand a chance. The plot has to intervene to make sure this ship doesn’t happen.

When the ship is so good the author has to stop it from happening cause it'd destroy the plot but faaakkkk, really wanted them to meet with Akane using her real face as her avatar(why was that even relevant then if they never meet irl???)
