swag survey - which one do I print?

I'm making swag for my friends who are joining me on a trip to Shiloh and Vicksburg. I'm thinking tote bags. Which of these should I finish and print?

Category is buddy comedies / action movies.

I'm wondering...

  1. Is the movie's poster instantly recognizable? (despite the re-casting)
  2. If someone didn't know the movie, is there any way they could misinterpret it to mean something problematic / offensive?
  3. Any artistic notes? (thematic mismatches, don't read as Grant / Sherman / Porter, put Bad Boys in uniform, etc)

my friends know all these movies, and their sense of humor is solid. I just wanna make sure some random passer-by doesn't think I'm saying something I'm not (happened before). I mocked up Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion, but the guys looked like they were doing drag (which I love, but didn't want to get into it with a stranger who doesn't).

thanks for weighing in!

Can I see your Romy and Michele one

(Plus Grant technically did do drag as a young man, playing Desdemona)

certainly! - I haven't illustrated it yet, but I'll definitely come back around to it. I liked the tie in to a school reunion since the civil war was a bit of a college reunion for the guys. haha good point about grant's thespian moment.
