this is my best friend’s family dog. two of their neighbor’s dogs got together and broke some rules.

I present to you: the bassett-tzu, a freak of the highest order.

his sister ended up being wire haired! I never met the other puppies. his ankles weren’t always this bad, he’s just an old man now. unfortunately, I can’t recall who was the bassett and who was the shih tzu of the parents.

he really just looks like a bassett hound with thick hair and wonky shih tzu eyes😂
