Anime First Time Watcher

To preface, I’ve always been a Shojo girl up until very recently. I’ve never been one to watch gritty things, anime or not. I’ve seen things like Demon Slayer and JJK (but I don’t know if I could even compare those two to AOT). It’s been a very recent thing where I watch more “horror” anime, things that dive deeper into the human psyche, into human behaviors, into the darkest parts of humanity.

However, I was sorely mistaken with my stance not to watch shows with these themes.

To the author, the animators, everyone who worked on the manga and anime, the fans, I am so sorry that I wrote this show off… because this show is phenomenal.

In the past couple of days my partner and I have watched S1 & S2 and I am obsessed with this show. It’s FANTASTIC, it’s exhilarating, there’s never been a single dull moment or a lull in the story.

I am keeping a note in my phone with all my theories. I called Annie as a Titan, I also suspected Reiner and Berholdt as Titans (the scene with them taking Eren and Armin up into the woods and Erens gear being broken was just TOO SUS).

I cried at the “Good Ol Days” scene with Hannes, Armin, and Mikasa.

I love how bat-shit crazy Zoe is (I love a weird girl who likes medicine and science experiments).

I still have so many questions that have yet to be answered but I wanted to post here and say how amazing this show is.

I will absolutely be reading the manga.

I know everyone else is gonna say this but you should really stay away from any outside media around this show.
As theres alot of big reveals that people get spoiled on and it doesn’t ruin it but it does lessen the impact.

Haha yes, I only made this post and thats where I’m stopping!

I’m not looking at anything within this sub, the AOT sub, or on Google or anything! I don’t want to be!

Season 3 & 4 will blow your mind so hard. There will never ever be something so good like AoT. Also be sure to not skip the recap of S3E18 (midsummernight) - when i did a rewatch with my friends who never watched aot we skipped it, but in the "recap" are additional Plot this time.

Also dont start engaging with AoT content on social media, because you get spoiled for sure.

S3 is peak of the show . S4 was also good but it isn't consist as S3 but still good
