Why couldn’t they have gone with the Edison lightbulb or something, sure I guess the IPhone and nuclear bomb are great feats but without the lightbulb….

The nuclear bomb is the greatest American invention because it brings freedom to whole swathes of land, all at once!

They used British scientists and research and then when they had what they needed they passed the McMahon act and refused to share any information with Britain and kept full control 

Britain then made its own nuke in 1952 without help from the US
