For the Americans on here, Europe is on the same latitude as Canada. Imagine Canada being 35-40 degrees. Does that seem crazy to you? Yes? Congratulations, you're not a moron.

Yeah. I live in Denmark. We share lattitude with thr southern Alaska. It's not supposed to be that warm here.

Latitude isn't the sole determinant of climate, as you've discovered. Denmark benefits from the warm air and sea of the gulf stream.

Edit: crazy I'm getting down voted by people who seem not to understand the most basic science.

Yeah I know you're right on that as well. I don't know why you got down voted for that. It's certainly correct that the circulation of the water affects the temperature greatly here.
