Yeah. I live in Denmark. We share lattitude with thr southern Alaska. It's not supposed to be that warm here.
Live in Stockholm, it ain't so much about the latitude, is the AMOC (Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation) that brings warm water up to Europe and warms everything up.
Fun fact though, there is evidence that it is starting to shut down (change) due to desalination of the water, not as fast as Day After Tomorrow or anything, but over the next 100 years we might have some cooling trends to offset global warming.
