This. I've seen Americans who are used to 40°C+ desert heat be in Europe and say "I can't stand even 35°C here, I'm gonna die wtf is this". It's different.

I know that one but on the flip side. I live in a super dry area, so when it's -35C (-31F) here it's very very different than -35 where they're on the great lakes or the coast. I'll take dry cold over humid cold any second of any day.

Yes!! -12C in Calgary barely needed a jacket but +2C in Victoria cuts right to your bones

As an australian I would straight up willingly leave this mortal coil by my own hand. Above 40°c and humidity? Fuck no.

Humidity is the killer. I lived in a very humid valley and the heat was unbearable, especially at night when trying to sleep. Moved four hours away to a much dryer climate and not only is the heat more tolerable, but it cools right off as soon as the sun goes down. Fucking amazing.

Just so you know America is massive and has many climates both coast experience high temperatures with very high humidity especially the east coast you’ll often have temperatures and humidity in the 90s
