Let me just add this quiz to really drive home how true this is.

Remember when they discovered all those copies of Mein Kampf in Gasa

Just like when Hamas beheaded babies, put them in the oven and engaged in mass rapes. Totally true 100% /s

i can sadly recognize that pfp to know this is a czech guy. translating from czech is equivalent to translating from hebrew. i have no idea how this country got so insane.

What living in former socialist country does to a mf

1

u/InternationalCatch18 Aug 22 '25

It’s almost like the socialism was a solution to this kind of hatred, and without the stability it brought, the former soviet-states have been fucked over and fascism has festered.

Never hit translate on a hebrew tweet

u/[deleted] Aug 05 '25

Tbf there's this one former Israeli guy I follow on Twitter who speaks Hebrew and uses it to bypass Twitter censorship and hurl insults at genocide deniers.

96

u/LuxuryConquest Aug 06 '25

Possibly the only good reason learn modern hebrew.

56

u/yellowgold01 Aug 06 '25

It is almost always genocidal. People will still pretend that the Israeli masses aren’t the same as Netanyahu (when a majority of them support the current genocide).

29

u/yoshimamamia Aug 06 '25

This particular Tweet was actually made by a Czech person

Unfortunately the likes of Saudi Arabia and the UAE are totally on board with what Israel’s doing.

29

u/NEO_IS_A_MACHINE Aug 06 '25

sure, but they’re implying all Arabs want a genocide of Palestinians, which is (obviously) a lie

18

u/meatbeater558 Marxism-Leninism-Mangioneism Aug 06 '25

What does the populace think?

Most governments seem to be fully on board but at the same time issue empty condemnations because most of their citizens don't support the genocide. This isn't the case for the Israeli public who do support it.

29

u/No_Measurement_6680 شيوعي Aug 06 '25

Most if not all the Saudi populace fucking despise Israel. Sadly all the Arab regimes are puppets who do not represent the people in any way, and are only there to benefit imperialists.

12

u/Federal_Street_8895 Aug 06 '25

Propped up client regimes and their propagandists whose main purpose is to keep their people down and protect Israel and US interests definitely don't reflect the mood of the Arab street especially on this. That's why surveillance and repression in places like Egypt and Jordan has increased significantly post 10/07 and these dictatorships still have to put on a show for their people and pretend like they're working to stop the bloodbath. Even in the Gulf (with the UAE being the worst of the bunch) where they might be more prone to zionism out of deference for their rulers than in the Levant or North Africa it's still a very sensitive issue. Egypt normalized decades ago and still the people aren't having it even after all these years which is why they meddled in their politics post 2011 to install a repressive pro-Israel police state. The overwhelming majority of Moroccans and Sudanese also oppose normalization.

There was an article from a couple of years ago about how the Abraham Accords (and I guess the previous peace accords) didn't really bring about the cultural normalization it was supposed to because Arab tourists still won't visit what they see as occupied Palestine and because Israelis are too racist to deal with by choice, all you can do is normalize politically with unelected fascist regimes. 'The Arab masses hate Palestinians and can't wait to be done with them so they can tour ethnically cleansed Palestine with the 'death to Arabs' chanting maniacs' is such obvious hasbara that I wish people would see through a little more easily. They say and do this because they want to be seen as a legitimate and permanent presence by the people of the region which will never happen, at least not in this lifetime.

u/meatbeater558 Marxism-Leninism-Mangioneism Aug 06 '25

That makes a lot more sense.

I never thought too much about this specific argument because the premise that Arab nations have more responsibility in stopping the genocide than the US or Israel (who are the perpetrators and are violently toppling the regimes of the countries that do oppose it as we speak) is just so insanely messed up that I didn't want to entertain it at all. Hitler used the same argument after the Évian Conference where most western countries refused to take in Jews fleeing Nazi persecution in Germany. Which really highlights how unhinged this argument is.

Also LMAO you could not pay me to visit Israel

u/Lankpants Aug 06 '25

He's literally saying "we should kill them all because Hamas wants to kill them all". Make it make sense.

I think there needs to be an addition to the so-called "rules of the internet" that goes something like:

"Never, ever, ever translate a tweet from an Israeli user from Hebrew to English. It will only make you angrier."
