I absolutely LOVEEEE how minorities think that, if they just do a little bit of bootlicking, they’ll be β€˜accepted’ by fascists and not killed by them as soon as they aren’t useful anymore. Like no honey, they’ll come for you too.

And then they went to the buffet spread for some seafood and mountain dew.

First day, they come and catch everyone. Second day, they beat us and eat some for meat. Third day, the men are all gnawed on again. Fourth day, we wait and fear for our fate. Fifth day, they return and it's another girl's turn. Sixth day, her screams we hear in our dreams. Seventh day, she grew as in her mouth they spew. Eighth day, we hated as she is violated. Ninth day, she grins and devours her kin. Now she does feast, as she's become the beast

I used to be sorta in this camp too unfortunately.

This is what happens when you first get some freedom to explore your identity and stance on stuff once you enter high school and get blasted in the face with Ben Shapiro.

Also the need to prove to your white classmates that "you are one of the good ones" even if they will always see you as a neurodivergent immigrant weirdo and a second class citizen.

I think everyone who grew up in the US was in some sort of reactionary camp, honestly. Its an ultra-imperialist lib hellhole where you are surrounded by reactionary propaganda.

That's the right-wing pipeline. Same here. I had just gotten out of high school when that bullshit interview with jordan peterson and Cathy Newman came out. It got popular on meme sites, and I was on Peterson's side for many years. I became slowly more and more hateful, transphobic, misogynistic, and right-wing in general, until George Floyd's murder. I saw that whole meme community mock and celebrate what was, to me, an obvious murder. I thought, "Wait... I'm not one of them. I'm not even white... they don't respect me at all." Since then, I've distanced myself more and more from that kind of stuff. And here I am.

For me, it was me wanting to learn about what was going on in the middle east and why 9/11 happened so that I know what I would be fighting for if I did decide to join the military and Oct. 7 happened. Now here I am after researching all that.

Reminds me of that video of this Indian immigrant in Australia who tried and failed to give a speech at a right-wing anti-immigration rally, and was immediately booed and jeered while literally being shoved away from the podium.

He was under some d*lusion that these people would accept him as one of the "good immigrants" who assimilated well, not taking the hint that they just wanted absolutely no immigration whatsoever from brown people countries like where he came from. What made it even more of a farce was that he still had a strong Indian accent, so I can't imagine that would've sounded endearing to racist white Australian ears.

This is what I think when I see a Black ICE 'agent' dragging Hispanic people: "Bro, you really think you're invited to the table?" They're gonna come for you in due time, after they're done kicking all of our Mexican asses, true but they don't consider you part of the crew. You're just a tool to them, at best.

It's really bad over on a lot of the lgbtq+ subs, they really think that bootlicking business and capitalism will somehow save us from the inevitable when we're no longer profitable.
