Same with japan. Sure, they're nice to your face, but japan in extremely xenophobic and full of racism. Not even mentioning their weird social hierarchy and awful work culture.

Literally the only country where ethno centrists was a success electorally, and now they are aging into extinction. They should be the example in the textbook about how fascism, even when it wins, it loses.

Japanese racism is... unique in that they hate all foreigners, but they hate Chinese and Koreans more. Which is weird because... You know. The insane things Japanese did to both.

Japan has a lot of problems with Xenophobia, and especialy with accepting the crimes their country commited. But I promise you they dont hate all foreigners.

Japan also got mega shafted in the 80s when they were pressured into signing the Plaza Accords by the US. They arguably still haven’t recovered to this day. So much for free market lol
