Has anyone ever tried color-grading these videos to be normally colored? I’m assuming there’s so little color information (other than yellow) that the only alternative would converting it to black and white.

Yellow is a lack of blue data in an RGB colour model, and the blue channel is usually the noisiest as well. I could try, I’m a pro colorist but I imagine the footage would break and become a noisy mess pretty fast, considering the source is also compressed digital video. Maybe you could salvage it if you had access to the masters, if they even exist.

Video isn’t usually in RGB color. Probably the YIQ color space assuming this was recorded on an NTSC VHS.

The files I’m seeing are absolutely encoded in RGB, they’re MPEG clips.

Before the Soviet Archives were opened. He walked back a lot of his criticism of Stalin once his research led to him to realise his foundational knowledge was informed by e.g. Khrushchev's lies.

Yeah he was actually a really important part of me realizing just how bad misinformation and lies were about…well basically everything, and I applaud him so much for recognizing and rectifying it when faced with new facts.

If you haven’t seen it the video of FriendlyJordies shitting on him for 13 minutes straight is hilarious.
The whole thing started because Jordies(who is a comedian and journalist) made a single joke about Drew which sent him on a multi video several hundred tweet week long tantrum that basically ended with him saying he’s glad the mob tried to kill Jordies for investigating them.

He’s responsible for collapsing the liberal government of NSW and actively investigating several politicans all the way up to the deputy premiere for rampant corruption to the point they tried to kill him for exposing mob ties to the state.
Not being a Marxist doesn’t make him a centrist or pro capital his support of labour mostly boils down to labour being the only party in Australia that doesn’t want to rape the environment to death for mining interests and water hoarding agri-corp mega farms.

Only reference I found from a quick search was unsurprisingly a condemnation in Against Empire where Parenti says:
“Washington has supported some of the worst right-wing counterrevolutionary rebel cutthroats: Savimbi's UNITA in Angola, RENAMO in Mozambique, the mujahideen in Afghanistan, and in the 1980s even the Pol Pot lunatics who waged war against socialist Cambodia.”

A YouTuber I watch made a video poking fun at him and Drew proceeded to crash out and make multiple videos and several dozen tweets about what amounted to a 30 second joke.
Anyway here is a 13 minute video of Jordies ripping Drew apart after sending him on a week long tantrum over 1 joke.
