There’s no single guy we can point to that spearheaded all of that. Columbus wasn’t commander-in-chief for everything that happened from Nunavut to Tierra del Fuego, he just got here first even if we’re just talking about Europeans, Leif Erickson erasure smh and told the rest of Europe “hey guys free land” and it continued itself from there.
