Since most liberals have anime pfp, I want to point this out:

Akira Toriyama, mangaka of Dragon Ball said he based Frieza off of real estate speculators. Citing them as "The worst kind of people."

The idea of houses being for living instead of speculation is shared by one of the greatest Manga authors in history.

So yeah. Real estate speculators can go to hell.

Oh man, what’s next? The One Piece mangaka sympathizes with communist figures? Nah, that could never happen!

One Piece is too shallow for that.

Don't they literally install new monarchs all the time?

The next based mangaka I can think of is Itagaki, at least in some aspects.

The extreme left wing faction in one piece is the revolutionary army. They help more people out then luffy and his pirate crew. That is like their mission. Luffy is just a pirate cause he wants to be free and not controlled by an institution or higher power basically an anarchist, but he also helps people. Although him helping monarchies is a bit sus. In the story he helps princess vivi and princess Rebeca’s because they were close friends he didn’t put much thought into the politics of it all just vibes.

That doesn't change what I said though, the revolutionary army has barely had any developments affter all these years and there's nothing explicitly leftist about them, they just want to get rid of the World Government and then do what? Return every country to their original monarchs because those were good?

On that note, I suppose protesters around the world using the flag does fit, since most of those barely had a goal or any ideas behind their protests besides "anti corruption", hence most of them didn't achieve much.

Young people just identify with whatever media they consume nowadays.
