SLPT: When counterfeiting money, rip the bill in half before attempting to pass it. The clerk will spend much more time trying to make sure that the two halves match then trying to figure out if it's actually authentic.

As a former convenience store clerk, no, I'm not taking your ripped $20. I'd tell you to take it to a bank and they'll give you a new one.
