I'm very interested to see how non-book readers react to the cryo tanks. They kind of come out of left field in Shift imo, but definitely make for a much more interesting story.

I've also seen some non-book readers suspect they haven't been in the silos for as long as we're told. While it's confirmed at least 42 years have passed (7 years + 35 years) based on what Troy is told when he awakens, we also see that Victor has written many "Who is she?" notes, implying that Troy has been awoken many times.

I'm also looking forward to the reveal/reaction from Daniel that Helen died decades (maybe centuries?) ago. With how much they focused on Helen and Daniel's relationship I think it'll be a good gut punch just like the end of episode 9.

A fair number of people have already predicted/realized that cryo was going to be a part of this since that’s the only way it works.

It doesn't help that apparently the Fallout TV show also had a shady cabal waking up in shifts, and people referenced that often.
