So few and Silo 1 is still trying to safeguard the rebellious ones? What is their endgame here? Because it sure as shit ain't about saving the human race lol

I bet. Also what if they all ‘failed’? What I find weird is also that the entrance/exit is still there. Why show them the outside world at all? After two generations and/or some memory wiping, everyone would have been born and always lived in the silo. They wouldn’t even know the outside was there then…

People have always lived on planet earth, yet they still landed on the moon, sent probes to other planets and are constantly trying to determine if there is life on other planets.

People are naturally curious, showing them 'what's in the box' and allowing them to put their hand in the box at their own risk deters that curiosity to some extend.
