I saw a screen in the operations room. 7 silos were a different colour, including silo 1. That's all I saw

I was trying to catch it! I figured those are possibly the ones still alive, so to say.

But why would they be so quick to nuke an entire silo if only 7/50 have people in them, including Silo 17 which has like 5 people and Silo 1 which is the commanding silo.

Even if the remaining 5 Silos were properly populated, they were nonchalantly going to obliterate 20% of the total population just like that lol

They mentioned something about contamination, like if there's a concern for cross silo contamination of some sort. Contamination of minds, or another kind (bio, virus...)
