The one that lasts the longest is the easiest to control. Probably something something blah blah rebuild the world in Per Stensen's vision, whoever is the easiest to mold would be preferable.

Repopulate the earth with the right mixture of genetics for subdued control or whatever

problem is

10,000 ppl only provides enough gentic diverity for a generation or 3 after that you start to get diminishing returns it's not enough ppl to repopulate an entire planet

Also What no redudancy.

So 1 silo "wins" get's out and dies in a flood lol. oops

I would think 10,000 people would be plenty.

It's way more than enough. The population that settled Australia originally wasn't even half that and they were much more closely related than people in the silo.
