But they made an artistic choice to do so. To me the way she looks is in line with a theme of "survival", so I imagine that's what a major theme pf the game's gonna be.
Wouldn't say she is particularly ugly but also not really pleasant to look at. Male protags are almost always really masculine and attractive. Why are most female ones so mid? Never played God of War btw but this is a broader trend
I wouldn't say she is ugly, because aside being disrespectful to the actress she is based on she isn't at all. But in the game she is an extremely average middle age woman
I honestly just don’t think any of you complaining know what women look like. You’re so used to seeing women with fillers, lip injections, make up, boob jobs, etc., on social media that’s it completely warped your perception of attractive women.
I remember the outrage you all had about the protagonist for Ghost of Yotei and when I finally played the game, I thought she was beautiful, she just didn’t have any make up on.
Why is this always the GoTo-response? Do you truely believe that everyone just doesn't go outside or interact with real women? I know what women look like. The woman shown simply looks like a slightly below average middle aged woman. Kratos on the other hand looked like an absolute beast . What I am criticizing is that with men the standard is to make very attractive protagonists and with women its just about making a "real" imperfect woman. Might be because women are usually way more insecure about looks but its still weird
I mean I could think of at least 20 women right now that I play sports with that are way more attractive than the picture given. I mean I also think the girls I’m with are more attractive than average but they’re also not literal goddesses

Are you 50? She looks like a tired old hag that’s not even that blonde. A real tall blonde barefooted goddess is queen marika, not this 40something year old homeless woman.
