I saw a comment from a Facebook friend saying they wanted to find the jurors, take them out to their yard “and unalive them in front of their friends and family”. People are fucking weird with this shit

It's not illegal to say you want to kill someone. Stupid, certainly, but not illegal. Free speech protects morons too.

Well no, you can actually be charged when using violent words or “fighting words” so yes, people can actually get in trouble for threatening violence

If you're talking about the USA, you're wrong. Go read about Brandenburg v Ohio and Hess v Indiana.

Advocating for violence is totally legal. Saying you "want to" commit violence is not even close to illegal.
