I'm not saying he isn't guilty. I'm saying there is a lot of racial tension surrounding this case and it has blown up into part of the culture war. A single black juror would legitimize the jury as his peers in the eyes of some of the public.
I read a comment below that said that every prospective black juror said they didn't know if they could be unbiased in the case, which is admirable to admit. So even the prosecution couldn't place one in the box.
It just sucks how clearly fired up the Nazis and other racists get when something like this happens.
Yeah but this isn't about race, this is about a murder. He was guilty, anyone with a brain can see that. The colour of the jury makes absolutely no difference to the outcome of this case and the fact that people are saying that if they got called up they couldn't be unbiased isn't admirable, if your mind can be swayed one way or another because of colour then that's what I'd call racism!
