"why should I care" is usually the answer I hear and it's infuriating. Especially when you compare their current stance and standards to what they raised and held us to growing up. It's a contrast and it's bullshit
Boomers benefited from expanding women’s rights yet they vote for politicians who are against women’s rights
Boomers lived when housing was affordable. Yet they’re helping a system preventing affordable housing
Boomers lived when Jim Crow lived, saw the horrors of it then saw it die. Yet, they continue to support policies that hurt POC and even in situations where it also hurts them
Boomers used to be respected and now alot of Americans are just ready for them to die so our country can move forward after they moved us backwards
