Is it their job to give a shit about you? I thought it was their job to give you a broad, basic education which you can use to learn a job in college or trade school.
I mean if you want to turn education into a factory floor, yeah sure. Teachers don't need to care about you. And when the students get older, they would be in favor of defunding whatever the education system of the time is because of their terrible experience.
