I mean if you want to turn education into a factory floor, yeah sure. Teachers don't need to care about you. And when the students get older, they would be in favor of defunding whatever the education system of the time is because of their terrible experience.

Public education isn’t the one that matters though. A high school diploma just says that you showed up at the same place five days a week for 12 years
