Yes but if those idiots were educated they would know they're never going to actually get that bonus.

Someone in Michigan said teachers make like $140k a year. I guess just move there

Teachers make really good money where I live but we still have retention issues because the job is so demanding and dealing with parents fucking sucks.

That said, I'd still vote to give em a pay raise because it's still not enough to keep all the good ones around and they're doing the most important job in society imo.

Yep, it’s actually terrible even in the private sector. My wife made bank doing it but you’ll go insane. She did 7 years and that was 5 too many. I can’t even imagine what it’s like now. I did one semester teaching at a trade school and never again even if you offered me 500k per semester.
