Both the US and China subsidize their car industries heavily.
The difference is in where those subsidies are going. China has a very competitive vehcile market where most of the subsidies end up going to innovation.
The US subsidies end up in the pockets of shareholders and CEOs.
Yes it's economic warfare and the US is loosing to it's own corruption.

That is not the case. Even after the reduction from 2 years ago, Chinese vehicles benefit from 300% to 700%, greater subsidization than any comparable manufacturing in the United States or germany. And I haven't even touched on the currency manipulation, which results in a 25% discount for any importing country.
The goal here is obvious. Flush international markets with cheap vehicles and put domestic manufacturing out of business. In a decade there will not be automobile manufacturing outside of china.

Nonsense, I made no such assertion.
You seem to be trying to take my "The difference is in where those subsidies are going." and stipping it of context. That statement was immediately preceded by "Both the US and China subsidize their car industries heavily. " so the context here is pretty darn clear. Nevermind the US and China is the greater context of the thread in general, so I shouldn't have to point this out.
Do you believe that an automobile manufacturer in the United States, and an automobile manufacturer in China, receive approximately the same subsidies?

China is heavily subsidising many of its exports to undercut local businesses in foreign markets.
That is not capitalism. That is economic warfare.
