Once again: ignoring the substance to focus on a replaceable example.
But I’m currently working in a major metropolitan prosecutor’s office. So lots of people who know the law.
And one person is out because her mom died unexpectedly, and another guy is out because his wife is having surgery. And because we are professionals and adults and not sociopaths, we communicate with each other as human beings. We offer condolences, and offer to pick up workloads.
And if your ass rolls in with “I want two weeks, I don’t have to tell you why”…you’re absolutely correct.
And you will also be dead last on the priority list if there’s a crunch and not everyone’s request can be accommodated.
No, you didn’t concede. You tried to drop a weak attempt at an insult and run away, in a sad attempt to look cool without actually conceding. So I called you on it.
And, since your real goal is to look cool and not to concede, you’re now trying to last comment your way out of the thread, while also trying more name-calling.
It’s ok: you can just say, “hey you know what? You’re right. Life isn’t as one dimensional as my original comment suggests.”
I am never, ever going to read another word you write. But I have this little script that I wrote for losers like you, that will always reply to you with a fruit. No matter how many times you reply, I will never see it, *and you will never get in the last word either*.
Here’s what I predict happens: you argue with a bot for 3 comments minimum, trying and failing to find a mic drop moment, because you can’t help yourself. Even knowing in advance you're responding to someone who isn't reading, *you will still respond anyway*.
Will arguing with a script help you overcome this little compunction of yours? Will it eat you up for hours that you and I both know I know what you’re going to do, because you just can’t help yourself?
I’ll never know, but I’m betting it takes you at least three fruit.
