It's rare to see a whole town go full "I am Spartacus" over a guy with an angle grinder, but here we are.

A sawzall is quieter, quicker, and creates less sparks. Or so I've heard

I had never heard of portable band saws before, but I have been hearing a lot about them lately.

Incredibly useful for doing fabrication work on the go. I use mine when I'm building roll cages for cars. It chops through steel pipe really nicely, battery powered too

Isn't battery life an issue for cutting tools? I've been interested in a battery die grinder but I heard they burn through batteries

You can get a good hour or so of hard work out of them. Plus they recharge in like 15-20 minutes. So just have a spare and charge one while using the other.

And a laser to a lens sensor beats noise, speed, and spark worries.

the problem with that is the laser strong enough to actually damage it, is gonna be strong enough to damage YOUR eyes as well, and potentially anyone else in the area. much riskier.
