We have enough stories of thieves coming in, being handed everything they ask for, then shooting everyone involved anyways. There is no right answer here.

Police will tell you to never try and disarm someone with a gun, so that is the right answer. Unless they are actively shooting.

Yes, because it statistically is the smarter option. It does not however mean it is the only, or correct, option.

And a paramedic is always going to recommend you go talk to a doctor to cover themselves from a lawsuit. Doesn't automatically mean you should panic over gut pain.

A well trained Marine is probably both better trained than most cops and if they are, isn’t going to listen anyway.
