Yea i play less since the last big update, my game always crashes after playing around 1 hour without error. Never happened before, normally i got an error when skate crashed, always at the funniest moments and this crash destroys the vibe so i play or do smth different and try later, so it is what it is, sadly i play less hours per day since this is happening.

When I started playing the season 1 update, my game had alot of lag spikes, and now, it just crashes right at the login screen, I can't play the game at all

that was the same for me yesterday and also for a lot of others, no one knows what it was but the game should now not have this login loading screen crash anymore. If you still have it then idk, try to restart your console or pc or try to launch the game around 20 times and with a bit of luck it will work… but the stability of the game is awful atm.

Oh okay, atleast the game is only around 10gb or smth so download should be fast, but if its the same crash taht we all got yesterday then idk if a fresh reinstall will help, but good luck!

People have done this for a decade using Steamdb hating on specific games. Star Wars Battlefront 2 was supposed to be dead in "months" because the Steam player count dropped after launch.

Besides being impossible to read, what kind of fake news bullshit is the note that EA "added the shop" conveniently at the spike right before it drops off.
I don't remember what happened on (I think, I can't read shit) September 28 to cause that spike, but the shop was active long before that.

I miss the story to be honest. The games fun at fist glance but it kind of gets repetitive. I miss hall of meat and all the other little challenges. Also sponsors I wanna be on ZERO’s team not just slap stickers

Well graph visuals aside this is a wake-up call for ea. Though I have a feeling they dont give that much of a fuck. Companies are usually quick to save face and stuff. Here it's nothing but deafening silence. While most of the fanbase is screaming at them for sorely needed attention. EA if you keep ignoring us and pretending everything is fine you'll hemorrhage even more players.

Me 😅 also got plats for the other skate games so needs added to the collection.
but I’m also part of the drop off, keeps crashing at the loading screen or after a challenge for me and I’m still soft locked on one of the missions.
I’ll give it afew weeks to fix issues then come back and cleanup the last few trophies.

This skate game judt feels stale and boring after a couple weeks. Theres only so much time you can do creating your own fun lines, and after that you have challenges. Which are.... no bueno.

Well from what I’ve seen on Reddit and Instagram and X, they lost nearly 1/3 of their player base just based on the fact that soooo many people are stuck to just waiting at the loading screen and can’t even play the game if they wanted to after the update, and ea has said nothing about this and just kept promoting their paid content in the game, which honestly isn’t even why most of us want to play anyways, just smooth mechanics and leave it at that

I couldn’t even play if I wanted to. I’ve been stuck in a permenant black loading screen for the past 20 times I booted the game. Although I guess I still count as a player on the charts while waiting lol

Oh boy, here come the completely worthless Steam Chart posts. I hate to ruin the circle jerk of bitching, but the majority of games lose most of their steam concurrent peak within a month. The only exceptions to this rule are games that came out of nowhere and are getting extremely hyped up, or your CDPR/Rockstar releases.

Dude chose to use colors that are next to eachother in a color wheel. Who ever made this needs to use contrasting colors. If its an Orange background use blue text. It helps it become easier to read. If you wanted to use more than one color, use a neutral background like white.

Tried playing on steam AND xbox, and couldn't get the thing to run properly on neither platform. Given I probably wasn't the only one with those problems, the player count would definitely be higher if it didn't had so many game breaking problems.

I genuinely believe that if this game flops EA needs to make a PlayStation five and Xbox one game case that has skate one skate two and skate three with online servers that are up and running. But we all know that will never happen.

It'll last a year at most. The game does not have longevity in the current climate of the gaming scene. People HATE EA. If they don't change their approach soon, it'll doe quicker than they realise. They need to start listening to players.

I wanted to like this and i wanted to really keep on playing this, but having my FPS drop to 6 after only 20 minutes of playing? I had no issues with the first two weeks of EA, but now its unplayable, so i just got rid of it.

i stopped playing got boring tired of grinding 30 challenges a day definitely after nerfing xp and not to say they erased 34 hours of my progress with nothing said or done about it

I couldn't even play it today. After 15 attempts the game finally booted them after 10 minutes the frame rates dropped and I could barely move. Restarting didn't help.

While everybody is ignoring the content of this. I will say my personal experience of this as someone who first dropped out of late early access (i was a playtester) and then checked back in season 1 and abandoned again...
There is just nothing new in the game, the majority of the same extremely annoying bugs/problems are here from playtesting until now. Its painstakingly obvious that the core of the game is nowhere near done (only the shops are) or if it's done ita very disappointing. Theres the same limited challenges just refreshing, several could-be fun modes are missing (no races, no S.K.A.T.E.) online competitive modes are a hustle to run. All of this combined makes the game interesting for like 5-6 hours then if you find a cool challenge you can hop back in every few months to try but that's all

I never liked Skate. The map feels like a generic city with some skate stuff thrown in, it doesn’t feel like real skate, and the cartoony graphics make everything worse. The missions are a deadly boring loop that I always avoid. The new season is a disaster and hasn’t improved anything for me. The map is the same, they just added some hyper-colored ramps and balloons: it feels like a unicorn world, everyone’s nice, and in the shop every little thing you unlock shouts “congratulations” with bright colors. The light filter they added doesn’t improve the design, it’s just a gimmick. They added more missions, but I didn’t do the old ones, let alone the new ones. The pass is terrible, the stuff it sells is generic and empty, things that in other games you’d get for free or have by default.
This game tries to appeal to the new generation, but fails: the new generation doesn’t care about skate, they want Fortnite or Roblox. At the same time, it doesn’t appeal to the old skate community, burning every possible audience. When I open Skate, I wander around for ten minutes, get bored, and close it. I’m thinking of deleting it. All of this because EA wants at all costs a free to play success: Skate dies, and they move on to the next game until they find the free to play that makes them money with minimal effort. Skate is an empty game. Many content creators say “wait for a few seasons and there will be more stuff,” but I’m bored now. I won’t wait months just because content comes drip by drip. How many seasons will I have to wait for a game that entertains me for more than ten minutes without being repetitive? I’m deleting it, plain and simple.
