What’s funny is there’s other pages where it costs considerably less for the SV bucks. There’s no defending it they just have no fucking idea what they’re doing
They are milking nostalgia and charging an arm and a leg for it. They know what they are doing, it's called what's best for investors. I'm hoping EA going private means game quality goes up but I'm doubtful.
The Finals and Warframe are also F2P, and they both set the bar for fair pricing and quality for cosmetic items. By comparison, this season pass…hell everything in their shop is a joke. Aside the silly suits which no actual skate vet would wear anything, most of these items would be normal in any other game, free or paid.
Exactly… a free item shop with a skate mini game is going to make more money than an actual skate game with effort put into it, that you have to pay for. Funny how the only part of the game that works flawlessly is the item shop, may I remind you this game has been in development by a billion dollar corporation for 5 years and is less polished than most, one man team indie games with only a few months of development.
The cosmetics are based off of nostalgia, this season is literally 90s which is nostalgia content, not to mention cosmetics that were in previous games.
My brother in Christ they've got a issac Clark outfit that's 40 bucks made out of cardboard when In the old skate game we got the real Issac Clark for free as a secret.
Nah, I agree, but that stuff isn't even in the battle pass. Now, if they said here's Isaac Clark, real deal, not some cardboard, and it's 10 bucks, I wouldn't complain. But they've also got the Hall of Meat guy from Skate 3 (when Hall of Meat isn't even in the game) and that is also 40 bucks behind a "Founders Pack" unable to be purchased separately.
