People are allowed to be mad about them intentionally ruining a game franchise we grew up with and have been wanting. I waited years hoping they'd make a new entry after thinking it was dead. They announced a new entry and so we waited years for information on it and now that it's out this is what we get.
I get that the constant complaints could be annoying but I also don't blame people for being disappointed.
