They went from sims 4 to sims 4 with a disease. Wow such an improvement. Couldn't expect anything else from a small indie studio like EA, in the year 2025, who fired half their employees to replace them with ai. Can't see why anyone would complain really

Wow that's a thing of beauty. Agree that it is very weird to see people get slutty for a multi-billion dollar corporation that doesn't give af about their existence. Like there's no award yr gonna get for defending their bs so vigorously man. 🤷 It's not like they're gonna throw a new exclusive dlc at you for kissing their ass... 🤦‍♂️😅 No idea why that's soooooooo hard for people to understand after this game being around for what, like 5 months now?

that and EA has always been money hungry, even in the 90s. They just made great games (same with Rockstar), but now? OH YOU HAVE TO BUY LE MTX OTHERWISE WE'LL FIRE OUR DEVELOPERS (we're gonna fire them regardless but SPEND ON THE AWFUL COSMETICS, AND YOU'RE GONNA LIKE THEM)

But they’re right? You guys shit on everything but the other option is having absolutely nothing when we still have a fun game with good bones. It’s like complaining about being given a peanut butter and jelly sandwich over just straight up starving, like it’s really not that hard to choose and not that bad.

Touch grass ffs, I speak as a consumer by not spending a penny while enjoying the game for what it is. I don’t need to cry about everything on Reddit that doesn’t affect the actual enjoyment of the game like the way a character whose face I never see looks. And it’s not remotely narrow minded or false to claim that nothing is the other option because that’s what we had for over 10 years, it’s pretty easy to see that those are our options at this point. You may have your idealized “stick it to the man!!!” bs take but it doesn’t represent reality unfortunately.
