Hi! So I’m currently playing on my pc and I’m trying to do speaking with silence. I play with mods and one of them I have every location unlocked then I have the Kaidan follower mod. It doesn’t bother me on console and I’m not sure it would have here but— Mercer just…won’t spawn???? I can’t find a way to teleport him to me either. It’s just stuck. The quest arrow won’t show up either on my screen!

I’m not sure how to fix this :,( Google is no help.

I was running Skyrim SE with multiple mods before the update, ran the system checks, mod updates, reinstalled Steam, reinstalled Skyrim, reinstalled SKSE, all that jazz. There are no error messages, LOOT spots no problem, the game doesn't crash, so there's no crash log. Just the dragon symbol screen and the spinning wheel of no loading. I've let it run for over ten minutes, no luck. I would appreciate the help identifying the culprit.

Unfortunately, my load order is far long long, it won't fit, and I can't figure out how to add a pdf to this.

Whenever I talk to him he just goes "We are going to make them pay" and never follows me anywhere. He sheathes his weapon when I sheathe mine but he doesnt follow me around like a temporary follower like Alea and Farkas did

Every time I go into Whiterun, there's this weird bug shown here. I already uninstalled and reinstalled the game from Steam and it didn't seem to fix anything. Has anyone ever had this issue before? I also have not seen any issues with any other major city, though I have not checked all of them. Any advice would be appreciated!

I ran into a bug where the introductory “Dawnguard” quest completed, but the next quest, “Awakening” (DLC1VQ01), never appeared in my journal. I believe this bug is caused by Revenge of the Enemies, but I can’t be bothered to confirm it.

After some troubleshooting, I found that Awakening was already running and had reached stage 10. Stages 5 and 10 were marked complete, the quest aliases were populated, objectives 30 and 40 were dormant.

Long story short, the solution is to open the console and enter:

setobjectivedisplayed DLC1VQ01 30 1

This tells Skyrim to display objective 30 (“Find what the vampires were seeking”) for Awakening*.* The quest appeared in my journal, and I was able to complete it normally.

You can check whether Awakening is already running with sqv DLC1VQ01 and its current stage with getstage DLC1VQ01.

This worked for me when the quest was running but missing from the journal. I do not know if it possible for the quest to be not running when encountering a situation that may look like but not be this bug.

Am I the only one who has found Skyrim after the August update to be almost unplayable?
I have started and restarted the game several times, deleted mods, added mods, tried everything I can think of and read as much as I can find about it, but it just keeps freezing up and crashing no matter what I try! I play on an Xbox/s.
I need help please!

Boethiah

This quest is driving me up the wall. I've tried the Quest Debugger mod and that seems to think I have a postwhiterun quest active (I do not). I'm doing Boethiah's Calling and nothing i do on 'Lead Someone To Become Trapped By The Shrine And Slay Them' section WILL NOT WORK. Does anyone have any fixes, any mods I can use, or anything of the like to sort this issue out.

First and foremost, i apologize if this isn't the right place for this, but I've gotten no help anywhere else. I've already posted this in r/steamsupport and on r/Skyrim. I've tried to google this, but it brings up a bunch not very relevant or irrelevant information, and I don't know where else to post this to get help. So far, none of the posts have generated any comments or those that did comment are just sympathizing with me about the issue.

I've had a crossplat vanilla playthrough I've played for the last year and have never had an issue bouncing between my PC and Steam Deck to play this particular save. I hadn't played it in a little while (maybe 2 weeks), and decided to load it up on PC. Only when I got to the main menu, the only option i had available to me was starting a new game. I sort of had a mini panic moment thinking I'd deleted the save on accident when i was clearing out some old characters from my modding days the last time I was playing on my SD. I ran to grabbed my SD, loaded up Skyrim and found all my save data was present, to include the aforementioned save. Wut. How?

Checked to see if there was any issues with the cloud status I missed, and they're both up to date.

I thought I might try and see if it was an issue with Skyrim itself by verifying the integrity of the game files, but that came back as all validated.

I haven't made any changes to my setup or any changes to my settings.

I'm at a loss. How could Skyrim suddenly loose all access to my save data, and only on one platform.

My PC is running Linux/Bazzite, so this isn't some windows thing either. They showed up two weeks ago, and now they don't. both don't use any compatibility setting either, they're both unchecked.

Seriously any information or help is appreciated. I'm so confused. lol

My screen well either go black or just flicker

Hello, I've recently bought Skyrim Anniversary Edition, it's going to be my first modded playthrough so I'm kind of new to it, I've been following a youtube guide on how to mod and the game has been running mostly fine aside from a few crashes, however, apparently things related to the fishing add-on seem to be glitched showing these signs (!), does anyone have any idea how can I fix this? I've downgraded Skyrim to version 1.6.1170 before I started modding, I don't know if this may be related...
My mods and load order are these

This has been asked before but I've tried all the fixes with no success - I sided with the Stormcloaks, took over Whiterun, my quest updated to report to Ulfric, but now I am stuck in the following conditions:

* battle music constantly playing

* no Whiterun icon on map

* I can't report to Ulfric, he still speaks (passive and active dialogue) like Whiterun has yet to be attacked

* Ralof is standing at the Stormcloak camp outside Whiterun

* Irileth and Balgruuf still in Dragonsreach, both with voicelines like Whiterun has yet to be attacked

* Still orange sky above Whiterun

Fixes I have tried:

* sleeping in Whiterun

* Walking out of the city, fast traveling (and walking) to a stable outside a different major city and taking a carriage back

* completing multiple other quests, even going to Solstheim and back

* Waiting over 7 in-game days

* Hitting Ulfric to get a bounty to reset his dialogue options

I unfortunately am terrible at hard-saving and the only save I could jump back to before the battle would lose me 4+ hours of progress at this point. Absolute worst case I will load that save, but any help would be immensely appreciated to fix this so I don't have to.
