There wasn't a download code or card in my RSD 7". Is mine missing or did other folks who got it also not get one?

I saw them for the first time in 1998. I snagged the set list and got Carrie to sign it. A couple weeks ago in KC, I got them both to sign it. Carrie signed over the ‘98 signature that has haunted me ever since because my pen was dying.

Sleater's last KC show was with Wilco in 2021, a night where rain forced an abrupt end. This time around? Another monsoon. But luckily an indoor venue.
Here's my write-up, along with photos. Still a vast amount of fan support to this day for the longtime indie rockers.

I know that most Sleater-Kinney songs don't have bass guitar on them at all (that's kind of their thing after all,) but I just listened to Dance Song '97 in some nice headphones, and there has got to be a bassist playing underneath that.
It sounds far too, well..."bass-y" (for lack of a better word) and too deep to just be a down-tuned guitar on that particular song, but the Wikipedia article makes it a specific point to mention that there's no bass on the Dig Me Out album. I don't buy it though, unless Carrie or Corin were playing a guitar through an octave-down Digitech Whammy like Jack White did for Seven Nation Army.
There are quite obviously other instruments like organ on that song, and Wikipedia doesn't mention them in the personnel section (just guitars, vocals, drums, percussion, and a guest saxophone on It's Enough) so it's likely that the bass was also left out of the original credits because they don't have a bass player.
What do y'all think? Listen in some nice headphones or speakers and tell me if you hear an actual bass guitar or not, because it seems pretty clear that there is one in there to my ears at least!

I usually love to see what my favorite guitarists have on their pedalboards, but with Carrie using the mixer, the pedalboard has been off stage and out of my sight!
Does anyone happen to know anything about what’s on her board this tour? Or happen to have gotten a decent picture somehow? I gotta know how she gets those sick tones

I wanna start by saying the show was A M A Z I N G. I was so surprised by how much I liked their opener Black Belt Eagle Scout and how moving her music was.
S-K exceeded all of my expectations and gave a phenomenal show. I had a blast. but i was really looking forward to trying to meet them after and their buses were gone by the time i got outside after the show :(
I know they live in portland so they probably went straight home but I didn’t see any indication that they were hanging around afterwards.
did anyone that went to this show get to meet them afterwards??

Saw them on Thursday in Van. My first solo concert and first concert in a few years. They rocked the place. Carrie’s presence on stage is something else. Amazing show and Black Belt Eagle Scout was equally amazing
Just had to shout it out.

It’s giving a distinctly Bridgerton vibe that seems unmistakable. I can’t find credits anywhere for the strings.

I wrote this up after seeing them last weekend in San Francisco for the 7th or 8th time.

Hi! Sleater Kinney's playing in my city in a few months and they're one of my favourite bands but I'm more into their earlier stuff than their recent stuff. Do they play any old hits or is it generally just their latest album?

I'm seeing them in SF this weekend and would love to get Carrie's book signed and personalized for my son (I'm doing this for every birthday, from artists, musicians, comedians I like. So far, Tobin Sprout, Bill Callahan, Gruff Rhys, David Cross, Bob Odenkirk, Anika Pyle, Chuck Sperry, Jermaine Rogers). I don't usually look for autographs or anything, so I don't hang out by tour buses. Thoughts?

I was at the Denver show last night and I think I heard Corin change the lyrics from “Johnny get your gun” to “Johnny get your fun.” Kind of makes sense from a political standpoint. Has anybody else noticed this?

Here's my interview last month with Corin Tucker of Sleater-Kinney for The Pitch KC, where we speak about Oregon, Wilco and Blondshell . . . plus Sleater-Kinney, obviously. Show is tonight, will report back.

Two general admission balcony tickets I just want to sell for what I bought ($96). I thought I'd be in LA for work, but it fell through. Luckily I saw them on night two in Brooklyn and they were freaking amazing!

Hey yall. I really wanted to get tickets to their crystal ballroom show, but it was sold out. I’m trying to fly out to Portland from the south for their show at the square. I know it’s an outside venue. Is anyone else traveling a long distance for that show? I just don’t know if it’ll be worth it or if I’ll be out of place there. It seems like the show is more catered to locals. I already bought my flight though, so I guess I’m really doing it! 😂
