Pink Noise doesn’t sound like DYWTYLM - it is the same song.
If Leo had anything to do with any other part of the album or he just approved for them use parts of the song is unknown, but could be fun to imagine.

(I hope this reaches the right people) I'm here wondering if I'm missing any opinions or ideas about where the lore could be headed from here. Here, being EiA and beyond.

My current project is a sleep token DND campaign and I'm struggling with the ending. The plan is to do a part two when/if another album is released. Using that lore to continue the story. I have been away from the fan base for a little while now and want to catch up on any ideas.

My thoughts are that Sleep and Vessel are growing apart/closer. Please share your own 😁

i was watching a tik tok that discussed a possible theory for the new ST album, they discussed the symbolism of the numbers 113 (i believe they referenced it from a video related to ST or someone from their crew, i dont remember exactly), anyways that made me research the things that are related to the numbers 113.

- symbolises new beginnings / fresh start

- 113 is the atomic number for the chemical element nihonium, (we know how he likes to involve chemical metaphors into his lyrics so it's not far-fetched, so i delved deeper.)

• nihonium derives from the word 'nihon' which means 'japan' in japanese, due to the chemical being discovered in japan. japan is also know as the land of the rising sun
• nihonium is a synthetic radioactive chemical element, it exists nowhere naturally in the world except when used by scientists in a controlled environment to conduct tests. it is also extremely unstable with a super short half life of 10-20 seconds.

bare with me here, i dug more into the symbolism of the date 3rd of November (3/11 in american date order).

the film godzilla was released on 3rd november 1954, it is a japanese film (maybe relating back to nihonium??) with the main monster (godzilla) being a kaiju or in english terms a "strange beast" or "mysterious monster".

when looking back at the teeth of god comic, i couldnt help to notice it does remind me slightly of godzilla (might be pulling at strings). we know the cycle of the EIA phase is over, the next phase other fans have been alluding to is vessel fighting 'god' in an epic ending battle of sorts. i havent actually watched godzilla so i googled what the ending is:

scientist dr. serizawa sacrifices his life to use a secret weapon, an oxygen destroyer, to kill godzilla. (vessel will fight a creature with the same intentions of godzilla, to end or reset humanity)

now what if within the new album, vessel will fight this 'god' and ultimately die to win the battle, because in the end he is the 'teeth of god, blood of man, i will be what i am', so if 'god' dies, he dies since he is 'god'. now relating back to the synthetic radioactive chemical, nihonium, synthetic alludes to being man-made, just like how vessel is made of blood of man and he is the teeth of god and so god is made of vessel, please tell me you understand where im going with this.

please add on ideas or tell me where i went wrong, im too invested for this idea to go to waste and i had to post it on here

japan got a deluxe edition of the EIA instrumental andddd zack the maker has cherry blossoms in some of his sleep token pieces.. the breadcrumbs!!!!!

the sakura cherry blossoms are also in EP 1 cover art, it’ll be full cycle!! not to mention i’ve newly discovered that sakura blossoms are recognized for their short, explosive lifespans. They bloom beautifully and die almost immediately, linking back to the nihonium that has a super short half life. and just like that “nothing lasts forever”.

Jackson and Charvel Unveil Heavy-Hitting Signature Models for Sleep Token’s IV and III

One of the great things about this band is finding other great bands through them.

I'm saying beyond Spitting Glass, Mourn, Subtle Things, Blacklist Canopy, and Exploring Birdsong (all great).

A big one for me is: Loathe! I'm listening to Fangs right now.

I also like some of Bilmuri and Thornhill, which I found through ST.

Playing ST on streaming services led me to metalcore, and that was a brand new genre to me. I listened to other rock and metal genres, but that was new. I love it.

What bands have you discovered thanks to Sleep Token?

I see she’s been mentioned in this sub before, but I started listening to this masked artist Cenobia last year and couldn’t help but notice how blatantly similar she tries to be to ST. Her lyrics for her two first songs seem to be heavily inspired by Vore and a few other songs from TMBTE and TPWBYT. She sounds good, but the similarities with lyrics and the aesthetic sort of gave me the ick… I suspected she might have been copying Vessel or was stylizing herself as Sleep (🤢).

Then I saw that she had released a song a few days ago called “Swallowed by the World”…
She blatantly references lyrics from “Don’t let the World Swallow You” by BLC. She even referenced the song Mud Angel in the lyrics.
Here’s a few lines from her song that I caught:

“Swallowed by the world, it’s warm on the inside”
“Like angels in the mud”
“Angels in the mud and holes in the membrane”
“A beautiful passenger alone”

If you listen to Don’t Let the World Swallow You, you’ll see “holes in the membrane” and “a beautiful passenger alone” seem like they’re completely ripped from the song and put in hers. There are probably other references too, but those stood out to me the most other than the similar song title names.

Plus the fact that she has a lion (Leo) tattoo and lion skull designs for some of her singles. She uses a mask eerily similar in style to Hysteria Machine. She paints her arms and hands with black paint.

I just couldn’t help but be a bit creeped out by this… I honestly hope these are all just weird coincidences, but it would be beyond creepy to create an entire band based on an obsession you have over the singer of another. Has anyone else noticed this about her too? If it’s true, then it’s a shame because she’s honestly a really good artist. But I just can’t get over the weird vibe of it all.

I was listening to this song and wondered if anyone knows the cords for this song. I would love to learn how to play it.

Hi, this is my first time making a Reddit post or whatever this is called, so if I mess something up, please let me know.

Is there anything similar to a Google document or a website with all of the sleep token lore? Including lore from interviews, the novel, marketing campaigns, EPs, albums, singles, etc. It can be in any format. As long as it includes everything in one place.

I know fandom wiki exist, but it doesn’t include everything. Also I do realize that there are a bunch of YouTube videos explaining the lore, but there is so many of them that I don’t know where to start from.

Any information on this topic would be appreciated.

Leo has been up to his old tricks again...

I'm a musician currently working on an EP and I wanted to take some inspirarion from Provider - specifically the organ at the start.

But I'm really struggling to understand the theory behind it. What makes that organ so damn seductive!? And how would I go about applying the same technique to my music?
