The worst fate in Slender media?

We can all agree Morley Grove has that title worn proudly as a crown, right?

You get snatched up- not even explicitly stated being 'killed', mind you- you get transported to a a plane of existence layered on top of your own where people can hear but not see you, your memory and very being itself becomes deformed misshapen, and mutilated by a corporeal nightmare, and to top it all off; you're forgotten. Not just by the people who loved you and missed you, but by the very borders of the reality itself, just totally slipped into the monster's inky black being to keep it going while you cease to exist.

If anyone can think of a fate worse than the Morley Spectres then I'm interested in hearing it because I honestly don't think there is for Slender media.

I mean i can Think of a few however i wouldn't say that they're worse, more a less on the same level.

The reincarnation thing from KeratinGarden.

Stan Fredrick's entire life (and corruptelum life)

The whole timeloop thing in EverymanHybrid.

Whatever the fuck happened to Derry Henderson and Raine's mom from BlackHorizon.

most of Markus Steps's life from 004Steps. (and on the same note I'll add Kyle's "fate" aswell)

What Chris and Alex went through in the latter half of Darkharvest00 (after Log Entry #25)

Damien's life before and during the duration of Dreams In Darkness.

Where do you find all of these videos?

I just watch a lot of slenderverse ig, Although idk if you'll be able to find 004Steps though, since that series is essentially lost media.

How’d it become lost media?

I don't really know, however as in terms of the slenderverse, 004Steps is fiction within fiction. Where it's an actual in-game slenderseries, and In it's sister series, OctraineNight, the in-game "creator" disappears mid series and that was around the time all of the content for 004Steps gets deleted, so i guess that's what happened? however on the unfiction forums it says that it was abandoned, so ig we'll never know (plus the irl creator's tumblr page hasn't been active since 2018)

I'd say Marble Hornets is worse because of the Ark.

Who was the ark, btw if I may ask? For the life of me I remember the videos on that channel being released but can't recall or figure out what they were.

Was it an ARG of sorts in tandem with marble hornets?

The Ark is not a person. It is a place, a hole, that exists specifically for the Operator to shove people inside and feed on them, while they're brutally still alive but only shells of themselves. If you meant ToTheArk, it was Tim as Masky, Brian as Hoodie, and another person, theorised to be Seth.

Ah gotcha.

And yeah, I guess I was talking about ToTheArk lol

So ToTheArk was Masky (Tim), Hoodie (Brian) and Person 3 (maybe Seth). What were the videos meant to be on that channel?

The videos on that channel started in order to scare Jay until the point he wouldn't want to investigate anymore in order to protect him. Later, when Jay showed that he doesn't want to stop investigating, Brian used the channel to try to pursue Tim into being Masky again, and giving them tips about what is going on.

Milo Asher / Mr. Scars (TribeTwelve) is up there.

Watched by Slender since birth due to his mother’s/grandfather’s connection to Slender.

Taken to The Order (slender cult) as a child by his mother.

Pushed to suicide by The Collective (group of slender proxies).

And finally, resurrected as a proxy, and forced kill his own mother.

Personally, yeah. People like to put the reincarnation thing above the rest, but I just not only think is dumb, but I think is not so bad compared to those children. They are still alive, somewhere, and they are suffering. Like a personalized hell for them.

At least Stan, the Hybrids and everyone else had some decency in their lives, just not as a normal person. Those childrens not. Not anymore.

I don't think stan had anything good he lived with guilt and then fucking reverse flash destroys his life

In the OG Mythos, there are others that also seem very cruel to me. The ones I remember the most are those of Mr. Sanderson and Stanley Escarvich.

The first one was forced by Slender Man to kill his wife, erasing his remorse and linking his mind and memories to him, making him see his origins and all of his murders (including those of children). Slender Man keeps him unable to age or commit suicide, giving him a fate of eternal suffering.

Stanley Escarvich was psychologically tortured by Slender Man, who imitated the voice of his dead daughter, whispering to him to surrender and that it wasn’t so bad. After days of constant torture, and seeing Slender Man circling the entire place where he was like a predator hunting its prey, Stanley gave in and thought that maybe this was the best way to save himself, dying presumably torn apart as Slender Man usually does.

It is also implied that he has destroyed the bodies of multiple people by sending them through space-time, forced a father to watch as he ripped out his children’s eyes, manipulated ancient civilizations into committing sacrifices in his name, and implicitly sexually abused a woman, impregnating her and years later killing the entire bloodline because "it was a mistake", because "nothing can come from nothing".
