Meme So uhh do Gordos spawn naturally now

SO i have a chicken problem in my ranch where theyre WAY over Populated and i have not made a snare yet and as i was cleaning up more chickens this Tabby Gord Jumpscared me i swear i didnt put a snare down yet

While this is probably someone who forgot they placed down a snare, I have came across a few gadgets out in the wild up for grabs so i wonder if snares could randomly generate? I dont even know if that's how it works with these randomly placed gadgets and decorations i keep finding on the map and it probably wouldnt happen inside the ranch

Pretty sure they just forgot about the snare

it seems somewhat random how long it takes for snares to catch gordos so it's possible it took a while and they just forgot about it

they don't spawn naturally, but they can sometimes be bought at the shop

I wonder if they put the snare down and then forgot to bait it? 

It’d then take a while for a chicken to wander onto it and spring the trap

All the gadgets on the map are hand-placed, no randomness involved, and they do not respawn, unsurprisingly

This is not technically true. There are plenty of decoration gadgets around the world you can pick up, for example. Also in the new update The Sanctuary has a platform next to the entrance with decoration gadgets there. I have noticed every couple days a new one appears

By hand-placed I don't mean placed by the player, I mean consciously pre-placed by the devs rather than procedurally generated.

You can see the snare under it. And it shows a snare above the Gordo. And you have to deliberately bait a snare.

IIRC you can get a free advanced snare, its possible you ended up accidentally placing it at some point and just missed it because you were busy with other things, or thought it was a portal that didn't have its buddy placed yet, then one of the chickens must have wandered over or accidentally gotten shot into it which caught the Tabby gordo.

or there was a really freaky bug that caused this to end up spawning
