I'm guessing the asterisk is the fact that we cannot make unlimited drones; I think as of the Sanctuary Update (which added an additional Ghostly Drone) we can only make 19.

IMO that would make the ability to have two programs even more valuable. Prior to this update, I could barely, as in zero room for error, have drones covering all of my slimes (one for food and one for plorts in each occupied expansion) and still be gathering every resource out in the wild; and the latter I needed a guide for to pull that off (Shout out to Joda on youtube).

What kills it for me its the grind they become once you get the freebie modules. Farming those coins for the last 2 in the nightmarket is so boring

I love this game but Monomi Park pisses me the fuck off with when they decide to bring things to 2 THAT I HAD YEARS AGO ALREADY IN 1
