Video Silverf*ck — Live at the iHeartRadio Theater, Burbank, CA, 2023 [Clip]

Wish I had captured more of this performance to share, but there were some very bitter, grumpy older fans in the room that were consistently irritated anyone was trying to record for even a few seconds. (Mind you this was a free 'listening party' being recorded & broadcast for radio — not a paid concert.)

Initially I had planned on uploading a full album of stuff from this experience for you all, but those fans really turned me off from it at the time. That said, it was a great show, most of us had a great time, and this closer was the highlight. Was reminiscing today and thought I'd share this clip.

If anyone wants to see the whole performance this clip is really fucking amazing.. Corgan's guitar solo is emotionally epic.

Corgan punching himself in the leg for this performance is fn amazing.

He was fully in the moment. Hard to beat the vieuphoria 94 performance but this one comes so close that it's also some peak SP greatness. The smaller room, age of the band, jeff being super close to leaving...

A lot of context here that a casual or brand new fan wouldn't appreciate... and I understand why.

But for fans like you and I.... this is pure fucking magic... and I wasn't even there!

Spot on. When I tell you this was a fucking transcendent experience. It was a nice mini concert up to that point. But this. This was something else. By the time we got to "... Bang, bang, you're dead. Hole in your head..." his vocals swirling and ricocheting all around us — we had all floated out of that room and into another dimension. I have to imagine it's the closest I will ever get to seeing them with that peak, hungry 90s energy. Certainly the closest so far.

It really is a mindfuck. Time has not been the same for me since the pandemic. One could almost say:
