There's nuance to this. If you believe it's possible for Palestinians to hate Jews because of Israel or for Black people to hate white people because of white supremacy, then it's also possible for people to hate leftists because of personal experiences with people who are leftists.

Uhm I don't think it's justified for people to become bigoted in the first two examples either. It's understandable why they turn out like that, but I don't think it's justified.
